Inspections
What inspections do you need before buying a home in Victoria?
Many buyers of an existing home arrange an independent pre-purchase building and timber pest inspection before they commit. An apartment or unit adds a strata report, a block of land calls for a land inspection, and a specific concern can add a specialist look. Every report describes visible condition on the day; the decision to buy stays with you.

Inspections
What does a pre-purchase inspection cover?
A pre-purchase inspection is an independent, visual look at the accessible areas of a home you are thinking of buying: interior, exterior, roof space and subfloor where access allows, visible signs of timber pest activity, and site elements close to the house. You receive a written report with photos and a clear list of what could not be inspected.
